We appreciate your support of our event. Unfortunately, we announced the difficult decision to cancel the 12th annual Big Time Bucking Horse Futurity. Several factors led to making our decision. Our sincerest apologies to the stock contractors who have brought their outstanding young horses to our event. Thank you for your support through the years. Again, our sincere apologies.

The Big Time Bucking Horse Futurity is a Saddle Bronc Rider event that features top saddle bronc riders across the nation riding the young, up and coming bucking stock produced by the nations top stock contractors!

2018 Big Time Bucking Horse Futurity

August 3rd and 4th, 2018
Kiowa, Colorado - Elbert Co. Fairgrounds

World Futurity Association classes:

Yearling, 2 year old and 3 year old dummy classes
Bareback - bring your own rider
Saddlebronc - bring your own rider (Limit of 30 Saddlebronc horses)

Each class is an individual horse entry event, no team requirements.

Details:

Yearling class entry is $100 with $500 money added
2 Year Old class entry is $200 with $2,500 money added
3 Year Old class entry is $200 with $2,500 money added
Bareback class entry is $350 with $2,000 money added
Saddlebronc class entry is $350 with $5,000 money added

All five classes will be 80% payout

Cowboy entry fees are $100
Cowboy added money for Bareback is $1,000
Cowboy added money for Saddlebronc is $5,000
100% payout

KIOWA, Colorado – For the seventh straight year, The Big Time Bucking Horse Futurity (BTBHF) is set to bring over 100 head of the North America’s most thrilling young bucking horses to center stage at the Elbert County Fair on August 3 and 4, 2018.

Sanctioned by the World Futurity Association and supported by the official bucking horse registry, Bucking Horse Breeder’s Association, the BTBHF is a major stop on the championship "ROAD to the 2018 WORLD FUTURITY FINALE" held in Las Vegas during the Benny Binion’s World Famous Bucking Horse & Bull Sale.

With an estimated total purse of over $30,000 for bucking horse owners and $12,000 for world class riders competing in the 4 and 5 year old bareback riding on August 3 and the 4 and 5 year old saddle bronc riding on August 4, the BTBHF remains dominant in the industry for the richest payoff.
