We appreciate your support of our event. Unfortunately, we announced the difficult decision to cancel the 12th annual Big Time Bucking Horse Futurity. Several factors led to making our decision. The Big Time Bucking Horse Futurity is a Saddle Bronc Rider event that features top saddle bronc riders across the nation riding the young, up and coming bucking stock produced by the nations top stock contractors!
Today we spotlight the Riders. Friday night Kiowa will see the local reunion of Andrew Harris and Drew Mikita go against the seasoned Todd McCaughey. Coming into Kiowa on the hottest streak in town, Will Shaffer whom just won the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rookie Saddle Bronc Title! Young guns Tyler Turco, Chase Miller and Garrett Buckley are hungry. Black Feathers was bred and raised by Darcy Hollingsworth of Canada. She competed at the 2011 World Bronc Finale and was sold to C5 Rodeo in the Binon Bucking Stock Sale. Her first trip to Cheyenne was as a Saddle Bronc. She has seemed to find her niche as a Bareback Horse this year at Cheyenne. She is the example of talented horses that progress thru the futurity system. Aug 2 at The Big Time Bucking Horse Futurity, we will see more young talent that are bred to become future livestock stars of rodeo.
